Contact UsThe Simpson family has lived in East Texas for eight generations and has a long history in the construction industry through growing timber, manufacturing gypsum board, and building homes.
William grew up working in the family business and graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA.
In 2013, William married Greta and started remodeling homes.
William obtained his Real Estate Licenses in 2015 and sold residential and commercial real estate in the Smith County area.
In 2016, William started Avinger Homes to build new construction homes and develop land. William and Greta attend St. Joseph the Worker, a Catholic Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter parish.
William is deeply committed to using his resources and abilities to facilitate the healthy growth of the rural parish community.
William enjoys improving his land with his boys, parish community events, playing family games, reading books and classical music, and chatting around the campfire.
Greta and William have a lively home with four children.
Martin joined Avinger Homes in 2021. He has a background in both commercial and multi-family residential construction.
He worked in management for four different general contractors in various cities across Texas and holds a degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M.
Martin’s most recent construction management position was as an assistant project manager, helping build luxury apartments in Uptown, Dallas. After that, he spent a few years living abroad, farming and fishing on the Northern Isles of Scotland.
Currently, Martin is a construction supervisor for multiple projects, managing every aspect of the job site, from subcontractor and material scheduling to ensuring quality standards.
He lives in South Tyler and is engaged to be soon married to his sweetheart. Martin is an active member at both St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Diocesan Cathedral.
